Why
The second time around
This isn’t the first run at something like this. During the pandemic I recorded a song a day on my iPhone and put it out the same night — close to 200 videos over two years. They drew nearly eight million views and left me with an audience of just under 5,000 people who still turn up for whatever comes next.
A song a day teaches you speed. A song a week is harder in a different way: there’s enough time to know when something isn’t finished, and you have to post it anyway.
